On August 12, 2011, during Palmer's Homecoming weekend, Dr. James Cox on behalf of Cox Technic physicians and Mr. Don Wisner, president of Haven Innovation, presented Palmer College of Chiropractic's Academic Health Clinic with The Cox7 Table in memory of Dr. Sharina Gudavalli.
Dr. Ram Gudavalli, father of Dr. Sharina, is a respected member of the Cox Technic family as he has done so much in his professional life for chiropractic research and flexion distraction research. Upon her tragic accident and death, we wanted to do something in her name to honor her professional, chiropractic life. Cox Technic physicians joined to collect funds to buy a table in her name. Haven Innovation donated the rest of the funds for the table.
